“Have Christmas Fun with the Magic of Ross Collins
New English Children’s Workshops and Readings at Palazzo BLU!
In collaboration with Kinzica as part of the Palazzo BLU exhibition dedicated to children’s illustrator Ross Collins.

These programs are geared towards children ages 3-12 (with all levels of English knowledge), and will be led by 2 mother-tongue instructors from the USA and UK.
Each workshop will be independent and feature an array of interesting activities inspired by the magical characters of Ross Collins. Activities will include readings, games, music, theatrical role-play, crafts including Christmas cards, tree decorations, etc.
The Workshops will be designed and led by Christy Baskerville-Olivier, a UK native with more than 20 years’ experience teaching English, theater and music to children of all ages in London and, more recently, Italy.
Readings will be divided into two age-groups: 3-7 and 8-12. After reading portions of Ross Collins’ books, the instructors will lead discussions about the books and offer children the chance to try reading out loud by themselves while being (gently) corrected by the teachers.
